Five
lettings on Castle Business Park within 12 months
Forth Valley Health Board, Lex
and Sepa acquire new offices
10th January 2006
CITY OF STIRLING BUSINESS PARKS (INVESTMENTS) LIMITED is
delighted to announce three recent office lettings on Castle
Business Park. This totals five new lettings all concluded
on the Park within the last 12 months.
During the fourth quarter of 2005 lettings were concluded
to Forth Valley Health Board, the Scottish Environmental
Protection Agency (SEPA) and Lex Vehicle Leasing. Forth Valley
Health board acquired approximately 981 sq m (10,560 sq ft)
within Carseview House in a move that means they will occupy
the entire ground floor of the building. SEPA acquired the
last remaining suite on the first floor resulting in the
building being fully let. The neighbouring Bremner House
was also successful in attracting Lex Vehicle Leasing into
the last two available suites within the building totalling
approximately 485 sq m (5,230 sq ft).
These most recent deals follow lettings to Contract Scotland,
an expanding recruitment agency, and Intelligent Communications,
an IT related business, earlier in the year.
With only 236 sq m (2,542 sq ft) of completed accommodation
now remaining, CSBPL has turned its attention to progressing
the development of a further 5,945 sq m (64,000 sq ft) of
office accommodation that would see the Park fully developed.
Two buildings extending in total to 5,945 sq m (64,000 sq
ft) and each being capable of subdivision will be available
from early 2007.
Councillor John Hendry, Director of CSBPL, confirmed his
delight saying, “Castle Business Park continues to
attract hi-quality occupiers and plays a significant role
in Stirling’s expanding economy”.
The development partnership, City of Stirling Business Parks
(Investments) Ltd, is a joint venture between Scarborough
Development Group and Stirling Council. The joint letting
agents on the development are Montagu Evans and Stirling
Ventures
